DJ Neptune has threatened to stop doing giveaways after some fans trolled him.
The issue all started when DJ Neptune decided to do a giveaway for ten lucky people after his 2020 single, “Nobody” hit 15 million streams. He said for fans to be among the lucky winners, they should retweet all the five stream platforms he tweeted on his page.
A disgruntled fan voiced his opinion about the requirement and said that if DJ Neptune wants to bless people he shouldn’t be putting unnecessary conditions.
DJ Neptune replied to him saying that it was people like him Buhari were talking about when he called Nigerians, lazy youths.
Another user defended what the other person said saying DJ Neptune should just pick people at random to bless instead of giving conditions.
Responding to all the trolling In a now-deleted tweet, DJ Neptune wrote,
E be like I go stop this Giveaway of a thing. Too many see finish don dey enter, now I see reasons why some people don’t even do it.
However, DJ Neptune changed his mind because he deleted the tweet and decedied to increase the amount of money he would be giving away.
