    Florence Ifeoluwa Otedolo, better known by her stage name DJ Cuppy, reacted when a first-class graduate named Hamzat Ridwan brought up her previous longing to be with someone in his line of work.

    The DJ jockey declared on the microblogging site Twitter in June 2021 that she would like to date a geologist or a botanist.

    “I want to date a botanist or geologist 🥸”,she tweeted.

    For them to be together, Hamzat, who was at the university studying botany at the time, begged her to be patient with him for a year.

    “Give me 1 more year and am all yours”

    Two years following Cuppy’s appeal, in January 2024, the young man informed him that he had received a first-class bachelor’s degree in botany, citing the post. He told her that he was his department’s top graduating student.

    Hamzat wrote; “.@cuppymusic 2 years later and a first class honors! B.Sc. (Hons) BOTANY Also the best graduating student, department of Botany.”

    After the tweet gained over a thousand retweets, the rich heiress congratulated the newest Botanist and called him a king in her response.

    “Congratulations king 👏🏾💕👨🏾‍🎓”, she wrote.
