DJ Cuppy Reacts To Marriage Questions, Says She’s Chasing Another Degree Instead
Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has responded to the frequent questions about her marital status with a light-hearted remark, revealing that her current focus is education.
The entertainer shared a video on her Snapchat page showing herself dressed in an all-black outfit while walking confidently alongside a man and another woman, with a dog trailing behind them.
Captioning the clip, Cuppy appeared to brush off concerns about her relationship status, writing:
“To those worried about my marital status, I’m on my way to get another degree.”
The post quickly attracted reactions online, with many interpreting it as another playful response to the recurring conversations surrounding her love life.
Cuppy has consistently demonstrated her passion for education. In 2024, she earned her fourth academic qualification from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), adding to an already impressive educational background.
Beyond her personal studies, the philanthropist has remained committed to supporting education. She previously pledged to fund outstanding students at the King’s African Leadership Centre for the next five years through King’s College London, where she is also an alumna.
Although she continues to prioritise academics and philanthropy, the music star has never hidden her desire to settle down and start a family.
In 2025, she humorously turned to LinkedIn in search of a partner, sharing a playful post that read:
“LinkedIn… I’m looking for a man in finance: 6 foot, brown eyes.”
The post, accompanied by a photo of herself pretending to cry, quickly went viral and sparked widespread reactions across social media.
For now, however, DJ Cuppy appears more focused on adding another qualification to her résumé than responding to the constant questions about when she plans to get married.
