“Davido was encouraged by me to pursue music,” B-Red discloses.

Adebayo Adeleke, better known by his stage name B-Red, a Nigerian artist, has revealed that his cousin Davido used to be a backup performer.

Davido’s decision to pursue a music career was encouraged by Adeleke, according to him. He stated this while a guest on the most recent edition of Quincy Jonze’s podcast, Echoo Room.

The ‘Cucumber’ singer claimed that because Davido had the talent, he should pursue a singing career.

He said……! “[Davido] was so good. Na me first tell David, omo, start singing”.

“Shoutout to my cousin, M-Pizzy; he is still a good artist. We started pushing him [M-Pizzy] first. So one day, David was always doing backups, and I said, David, M-Pizzy is good, but you too, you are good oh, start singing na”.

“David said, are you serious? I said, yes! And he started singing. So, it was my cousin, M-Pizzy that actually showed us the way. Shoutout to M-Pizzy too.”

The musician also disclosed how he and David marketed 20 televisions at his father’s house.

Meanwhile, He and his brother, Sina Rambo, reportedly served as Don Jazzy and D’banj’s personal assistants during the Mo’hits era.

Furthermore and in other news, Nigerian singer B-Red has disclosed how Burna Boy chased Davido’s car when they first met in Port Harcourt. He revealed this in an interview in the middle of the current Davido and Burna Boy dispute.

Recall that in an interview that rocked the internet, Davido referred to Burna Boy as a “new cat” in the business.

Burna rushed after Davido’s car the first day they saw him in Port Harcourt, according to B-Red, Davido’s cousin. He stated that he was chasing after their car while yelling “I love you Davido.”

He said, ‘The first time I met Burna Boy was in Port Harcourt, where he was running after me and Davido’s car and screaming I love you, I love you Davido’.
