It’s no longer secret that Davido would be dropping a new album “A Better Time” in 2020 though a specific hasn’t been announced.
In a clip released by Popular brand, “Vype”, Davido shares the inspiration that birthed his forthcoming alum.
According to him, the lockdown led to his tour being canceled, and due to being stuck at home, he had a lot of time on his hands to do music.
The “Fem” singer said that the album contains collaborations featuring Nicki Minaj who he communicated with via DM, Nas who he met in a studio alongside Hitboy, Lil Baby, and Mayorkun who is featured on two songs.
He said he called the album “A Better Time” because African Music is in a better place and he is enjoying a better time.
