The hottest topic in the Music Industry is the supposed beef between Davido and Burna Boy.
This supposedly started after Burna Boy made some cryptic statements on his Snapchat and things got hotter when Davido released “Fem” which was interpreted as a shot at Burna.
Davido in an interview with Ebuka opened up about how this supposed beef came to be. He said that Burna Boy and he are brothers, that he was the happiest of Burna’s success.
He said that he came across a photoshopped picture of him and Wizkid and decided to post it as a joke with the caption, “The greatest of all time”.
Apparently, Burna Boy came across the post and got angry and dropped cryptic messages about Davido’s dad being the reason he was famous.
Davido said that he went offline for different reasons and came back to drop his song, “Fem”.
When asked if Fem was about Burna, Davido said no, that the song wasn’t about him but for people who are always on his case.
On-Camera, he says he would like to resolve whatever issue he has with Burna Boy. He also lamented that people in the music industry like to make him the bad guy for no reason.
He also said that he once met Burna’s dad who called him “his son”.
He said his way of addressing issues is with music, which he did with the Dele Momodu and Caroline issue.
