Nigerian Afrobeats heavyweight Davido has shared a touching glimpse into his life as a father, opening up about the very different personalities of his two eldest daughters, Imade and Hailey.
In a viral interview clip currently circulating on social media, the award-winning singer revealed that out of all his children, Imade and Hailey are the most conscious of just how famous he is.
According to Davido, that awareness often shapes how they respond to public outings, cameras, and the constant attention that comes with his global stardom.
Speaking about his first daughter, Imade, Davido explained that she prefers a quieter, more private experience with him.
He shared that she sometimes asks to go to places without crowds or paparazzi, simply so they can spend time together without distractions. He described her as someone who values calm, intimate moments over being in the public eye.
Hailey, on the other hand, has a completely different energy. Davido revealed that his second daughter is far more comfortable with the spotlight, often embracing the cameras and happily posing for photos. Her confidence, he said, sets her apart from Imade’s more reserved nature.
The clip has sparked warm reactions across social media, with many fans applauding Davido for speaking so openly and for acknowledging each child’s individuality.
