My fifth album will change lives – Davido says on his upcoming project
Nigerian music superstar Davido has teased fans with big promises about his highly anticipated fifth studio album, ‘Five’, set to drop on March 14, 2024.
In a recent video shared online, Davido, sitting beside his wife Chioma Adeleke in a private jet, confidently declared that the album would be life-changing.
“My fifth album is going to be amazing. It’s going to change everybody’s lives… Our lives already changed in the past couple of years. It has been lit, and it’s about to get more lit,” Davido stated.
The excitement for the album is already building, thanks to its lead singles.
– ‘Awuke‘, featuring rising star YG Marley, has topped multiple charts.
– ‘Funds‘, a collaboration with OdumoduBlvck and Chike, set a new record for the most streams in an opening week in Nigeria.
While the tracklist has yet to be revealed, the pre-release details on streaming platforms indicate that the album will include 17 songs, showcasing a mix of collaborations and solo performances.
Davido, a four-time Grammy nominee, has hinted that this project is his best work yet, and fans are already anticipating a mix of Afrobeats, heartfelt lyrics, and chart-topping bangers.
