Davido expresses regret after suffering a leg injury in Heineken’s UEFA Novelty match.
On Wednesday, Davido teamed up with Clarence Seedorf, a four-time champions league winner, in the Heineken face-off, a one-off contest hosted at Landmark Beach as part of the UEFA Champions League Tour.
The game included two teams: Team Heineken, coached by Dutch legend Clarence Seedorf, and Team Nigeria, led by Davido and featuring ex-Nigerian internationals Jay Jay Okocha, Daniel Amokachi, and Pastor Taribo West.
Hours after the match ended, Davido took to his Instagram page and shared a video of his leg being treated after he strained it in the novelty game.
As his foot was immersed in what appeared to be water, the DMW label boss yelled out in pain and playfully pondered why he opted to participate.
