Afrobeat sensation Davido recently shared insights into his preferred musical partners, singling out Kizz Daniel and Zlatan Ibile as standout collaborators.

In a candid conversation with Business Untitled, Davido emphasized his admiration for artists he enjoys working with, spotlighting Kizz Daniel, with whom he co-created hits like “One Ticket” and the latest “Twe Twe” remix.

Additionally, Davido praised his synergy with Zlatan, noting their joint efforts on tracks such as “Osanle” and “Money.” Notably, Davido also mentioned international star Chris Brown, reflecting on their successful collaborations on chart-toppers like “Blow My Mind” and “Sensational.”

In the interview, Davido confidently asserted his stature in the industry, proclaiming himself as a force to be reckoned with asserting, “Big Me.”

Relatedly, Davido has joined the ranks of artists distancing themselves from the Afrobeats genre, following in the footsteps of Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Fireboy DML

During his appearance on the latest edition of the Business Untitled Podcast, the DMW boss expressed frustration with the tendency to categorize all African artists under the umbrella of Afrobeats, irrespective of their individual musical styles.
