Nigerian music star Davido has joined a growing list of celebrities celebrating comedian Carter Efe after his surprising victory over controversial singer Portable in a celebrity boxing showdown.

The bout, which took place on May 1, 2026, at Balmoral Hall Federal Palace Hotel, saw Carter Efe put up a dominant performance across three rounds.
At the end of the fight, judges scored it 27–30 in favour of the comedian, handing Portable his first defeat in the growing celebrity boxing scene.
