The Nigerian international superstar Davido has been announced by Shazam as the most shazamed Artist in Nigeria for the year.
Nigerian heavyweight singer and performer David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has achieved a new milestone for the media identification app Shazam.
The founder of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) has been named the most shazamed artist in Nigeria for the year 2021, meaning that a large number of people in Nigeria use the application to identify his songs whenever it comes on.

Shazam is an application that can identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played and using the microphone on the device.
This news comes after CKay’s mega-hit “Love Nwantiti” became the world’s most shazamed song, and Wizkid’s “Essence” became the most shazamed song in the United States of America.
