Davido, Bella Shmurda, Falz, and others grace the memorial procession for Mohbad
On Thursday night, a memorial procession was held for the late Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
The mourners gathered in Lekki, a neighborhood in Lagos State, most of them wearing homemade t-shirts honoring the late artist.
Famous artist Davido joined the parade after just arriving home from a tour of the United States.
The Fem crooner was being hailed by fans as he led the procession, and this was caught on camera in a video that has been making the rounds online.
Popular rapper and activist, Falz was also present at the procession.
Mohbad’s close friend and frequent collaborator Bella Shmurda has since expressed her gratitude to everyone who attended the mourning procession for the late singer.
On his X handle, he wrote; “Shout out to everyone who came out For Mohbad’s candle night. Y’all are blessed. I appreciate you guys from the bottom of my heart.”
