Dammy Krane Announces Initiative to Set Up Prison Reform Hours After His Release, Peeps React
Nigerian singer Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, has announced the launch of a prison reform foundation following his recent release from prison.
The foundation aims to advocate for the rights of those who have been illegally detained.
Dammy Krane’s decision to start this foundation comes after his own experience of being arrested and detained over defamation claims and the publication of slanderous material about his colleague, Davido.
He had previously accused Davido of murder and made other controversial statements, which led to his arrest.
However, with the intervention of social media activist Verydarkman, Davido facilitated Dammy Krane’s release from prison custody.
In his first public statement following his release, Dammy Krane expressed his gratitude to Verydarkman and issued an apology for his past actions, acknowledging that he had made many inappropriate remarks.
Now, Dammy Krane is determined to use his experience to give back to the community. He took to X to announce the establishment of his prison reform foundation, stating, “I’M STARTING A PRISON REFORM FOUNDATION FOR THE ILLEGALLY DETAINED #FreedomIsPriceless.”
