Dammy Krane submits petition against Davido, demands $500k payment
Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has stirred controversy on social media with a viral petition addressed to the Inspector-General of Police, accusing fellow artist Davido of various alleged wrongdoings.
In the petition, Dammy Krane highlights five key issues, including a call to reopen the investigation into the death of Tagbo, a case from several years ago.
Additionally, he accuses one of Davido’s associates of issuing death threats against him. Dammy Krane also seeks the IG’s intervention to lift restrictions on his bank accounts, which he claims have blocked access to his funds.
Furthermore, he demands $500,000 from Davido for his contributions to the song “Pere,” alleging that the amount was agreed upon but never paid.
Despite being arrested and later released by the Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja, Dammy Krane has refused to retract his claims, which initially sparked the controversy.
His petition has fueled a heated online debate, with many expressing shock and disbelief at the allegations against Davido. The unfolding situation has left fans and observers divided.

Recall, Dammy Krane sparked controversy with a apology to fellow artist Davido following his release from prison.
Despite his apology to Davido, Krane’s actions raised eyebrows due to a subtle dig. In a now-deleted video, Krane shared footage of Davido crying and on his knees, with the caption, “PLEASE @davido I’M BEGGING. I’M ON MY KNEES.”
