“Pay me my money” – Dammy Krane calls out Davido hours after receiving $20k gift from producer
Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has publicly called on Davido to settle an outstanding debt shortly after the ‘Unavailable‘ crooner revealed receiving $20,000 as a token of appreciation from a producer.
Davido had earlier taken to his Instagram stories to share a heartwarming moment involving a producer he worked with on his ‘Timeless‘ album. The producer, who had recently received his publishing check, visited Davido’s house to personally hand him $20,000 as a gesture of gratitude.
“A certain producer/writer I started working with from ‘Timeless.’ Finally, he got his publishing check, came to my house, handed me 20 thousand dollars, and said, ‘Baba, I thank you.’ Happy to see there are still good people in this world! Being appreciated sure feels good! Love you, brother!” Davido wrote on Instagram.
Shortly after Davido shared this story, Dammy Krane took to the comment section of a blog post to call him out, demanding payment for an alleged debt. In his message, Dammy Krane wrote:
“OWE B OWE just gimme me my money. I go give you $50k inside if na wetin you like.”
The public exchange has reignited discussions among fans, with many urging both artists to address the issue privately to avoid further escalation.
This isn’t the first time Dammy Krane has voiced grievances involving Davido, adding a layer of history to the ongoing situation.
