Popular Nigerian singer Runtown has announced that he will be giving out 10 million naira to Nigerians who have no money to stock up as total lockdown looms.
Runtown who took to his twitter page to ask fans who are financially incapacitated to prepare for the stay at home order further asked Nigerians who were not in need of the fund not to drop their account details for the giveaway.
It will be recalled that the Lagos state government had yesterday issued a stay at home order following the widespread of coronavirus.
Runtown who seemed to be worried about the welfare of Nigerians who have not been able to stock up wrote:
HOPE EVERYONE IS STAYING SAFE. TIMES ARE EXTREMELY TOUGH AND I AM CERTAIN THERE ARE PEOPLE WITH NO MONEY TO STOCK UP ON SURVIVAL ESSENTIALS . WILL BE GIVING OUT 10 MILLION NAIRA TO THIS CAUSE. KINDLY DROP YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS
Further asking people who are not in need of the intervention funds to desist from dropping their account details, Runtown wrote:
NOTE: OBVIOUSLY 10 MILLION NAIRA WOULD NOT GO ROUND, SO IF YOU HAVE OTHER MEANS TO SUSTAIN YOURSELF, RESPECTFULLY DON’T SEND IN YOUR ACCOUNT
