“You wasted my time” – Chloe Bailey fuels breakup rumors with Burna Boy
American singer Chloe Bailey has ignited rumors of a subtle dig at her alleged ex, Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy, after performing a soulful cover of a song from 11:11 (Deluxe).
The emotionally charged lyrics, which touch on themes of heartbreak and betrayal, have fueled speculation, especially amid reports that Burna Boy was involved with another woman to whom he reportedly promised a Lamborghini but never delivered.
In a video posted on her Instagram, Chloe passionately sang, “Don’t know about them other girls you used to deal with, but I don’t need to buy a man to give me love to lay with, no.” She continued with, “You ain’t even worth it, got me out here looking crazy. I shouldn’t have ignored all the signs. You wasted all my time, know you gonna miss all of the times that we had shared.”
Toward the end of her performance, she made a bold statement: “There’s only one Chloe in the world,” seemingly asserting her uniqueness and self-worth.
Although Chloe has kept her love life relatively private since she was first linked to Burna Boy in December 2024, fans are convinced that her song choice and lyrics were a direct response to their rumored split.
Neither Chloe nor Burna Boy has publicly addressed the speculation, but the cover has certainly sparked conversation online.
