Chelsea stars clash with Graham Potter over Mason Mount.
According to reports Graham Potter has annoyed some Chelsea players in the dressing room by not starting Mason Mount regularly.
The Independent claims that the England international is a popular member of the squad at Stamford Bridge.
Some Chelsea officials reportedly are not happy with how Mount’s playing time has decreased lately; he has started only one of his last five games overall.
According to the source, Potter’s viewpoint is adopting the simple course of action by excluding the more subdued Mount, who is less likely to make a scene about his insufficient playing time.
But that doesn’t sit well with certain members of the Blues players dropping the midfielder, though. Mount, who has been one of the club’s best players in the previous two years, is having a tough campaign.

Although the midfielder had plenty of opportunities in Potter’s early months in charge, the manager has subsequently lost interest in him.
While he was suspended, he was not there for the victory against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. He also missed the weekend victory over Leeds due to an abdominal issue.
The 24-year-old’s return of three goals and six assists so far this campaign is underwhelming for someone with his attacking quality.
Meanwhile, Mount’s contract at Chelsea expires at the end of next season. And he has rejected all offers of a renewal thus far.

According to rumours, Mount is admired by Manchester United, who are now monitoring his condition. Moreover, there have been more solidified ties about a transfer to Anfield.
