CardiB reacts as BBNaija’s Mercy Eke recreates one of her outfits to AMVCA.
American rap artist, Cardi B is swooning over Big Brother Naija season 4 winner Mercy Eke’s dress at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
One of the biggest nights in Nigerian entertainment is the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), which is also a significant fashion show. To commemorate the finest of Nollywood, celebrities from throughout the nation assemble, and they are always dressed to impress.
On Saturday, May 20, the Eko Hotel hosted the 9th annual award ceremony, which honoured the African film industry’s brilliance.
The red carpet was vibrant, glamorous, and fashionable. There was plenty for everyone to admire, from elegant and sophisticated outfits to traditional Nigerian clothing.
Mercy Eke’s outfit, however, was the one that caught Cardi B’s attention at this year’s AMVCA. The rapper added the caption “8888888” to a photo of the reality star, which roughly translates to “ate the outfit” or “killed it.”
Mercy Eke was styled for the event by popular stylist, Swanky Jerry. The dress, on the other hand, was made by Xtra Bride Lagos.
