Project fame winner and popular Nigerian singer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk has been granted N20M bail following his involvement in a car theft case.
The project fame winner who was taken to court by the Special Fraud Unit of the Nigeria Police Force was accused of dishonestly converting a vehicle to his own.

Iyanya who rose to fame after winning the first season of Project Fame West Africa, a music reality tv show organized by MTN in 2008 was asked by Justice Mobolanle Okikiolu-Ighile of the High court Lagos to also provide a surety with a landed property in Lagos.

While granting the Kukere crooner bail, Justice Mobolanle who expressed confidence that Iyanya will not interfere with court proceedings was also sure that he will not jump bail if granted.
Iyanya who released a 4 track EP on the 20th of February has been booked to appear before the high court in Lagos on the May 27 2020.
