Burna Boy unlocks another gold certification in the US, Achieving Another Major Milestone

Nigerian Afrofusion superstar Burna Boy has once again solidified his global dominance as his song “Alone,” featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, has sold over 500,000 units in the United States (US).
This achievement makes the track eligible for Gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Released in November 2022, “Alone” quickly became a fan favorite, blending Burna Boy’s soulful vocals with the emotional depth of the ‘Black Panther‘ sequel.
The track, which was part of an album showcasing top African artists, further cemented Burna Boy’s reputation as a global music icon.

This Gold certification adds to Burna Boy’s long list of international achievements:
✅ In March 2023, “Last Last” was certified Platinum in the U.S. (over 1 million units sold), making Burna Boy the first African artist to have two solo songs go Platinum in America.
✅ In January 2023, “Ye” was certified Gold by the RIAA, proving its long-standing impact.
✅ In September 2023, “Alone” was certified Gold in France, surpassing 15 million digital streams.
✅ By January 2024, the track also went Silver in the U.K., showcasing its global appeal.
