Burna Boy, Tems and Rema reach new peaks on Billboard Hot 100.
The Nigerian contingent of Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema reached new highs on the Billboard Hot 100 in the most recent edition.
Burna Boy’s “Last Last,” Tems‘ “Free Mind,” and Rema’s “Calm Down” remix with Selena Gomez all reached new heights in the Billboard Chart week ending October 8, 2022.
Burna Boy’s “Last Last,” which climbed two spots from position 51 to a new peak of 49 and extended its chart run to 12 weeks, leads the Afrobeats entries this week.
Tems’ “Free Mind,” which rose two spots from position 52 to position 50 and spent an additional 11 weeks on the chart, is in second place.
As it enters its fourth week on the chart, Rema’s “Calm Down” remix featuring Selena Gomez makes the biggest jump, moving up 8 spots from 88 to 80.

The top ten songs on the Billboard Afrobeats Chart barely changed this week as Rema’s “Call Down” remix held onto the top position. Number 2 is “Last Last,” and number three is “Free Mind.” At Number 4, the Wizkid “Essence” remix debuts, and “Kulosa” by Oxlade rounds out the top 5.
Wizkid’s ‘Bad To Me‘ drops to Number 10 while Tem’s ‘Higher’ moves up to Number 8.
While “Joha” continues to be Asake’s highest charting song at Number 12, “Organise” and “Terminator” move up to Numbers 13 and 14, respectively, and Ayra Starr’s “Rush” climbs to Number 11.
Bella Shmurda‘s “Philo,” featuring Omah Lay, makes its debut at Number 26, while Young Jonn’s “Xtracool” debuted at Number 48.
