Burna Boy Splashes $1.5 Million on Luxury Wristwatches in a Single Day
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has once again made headlines with his extravagant lifestyle, spending a staggering $1.5 million on wristwatches in just one day.
In a viral video circulating online, the self-proclaimed African Giant could be seen proudly showing off his latest acquisitions—two Richard Mille watches and a Patek Philippe—while flashing a broad smile.
A voice in the background, seemingly one of Burna’s aides, excitedly announced the jaw-dropping price of the watches.
Meanwhile, a staff member at the luxury store provided details on the exclusive timepieces, revealing that one of the Richard Mille watches is a Bubba Watson edition with a factory diamond setting.
Burna, clearly impressed, responded, “No aftermarket,” affirming that it was a rare, original piece.
The second Richard Mille watch was identified as the Rafael Nadal RM35-03, with the store representative noting that Burna’s acquisition is only the fourth of its kind in the Nadal generation.
At one point in the video, Burna appeared to be calculating how many Richard Mille watches he owns, prompting someone in the background to remark, “Imagine losing count of how many Richard Mille you got.”
Eventually, Burna confirmed that his collection now includes seven Richard Mille timepieces.
This isn’t the first time Burna Boy has indulged in luxury purchases.
In 2024, he made headlines for acquiring a Rolls-Royce customized with diamonds, further cementing his reputation as one of Nigeria’s biggest spenders in the entertainment industry.
