    Nigerian Afro-fusion artist Burna Boy continues to etch his name in the history books of Nigerian music, setting multiple records with an impressive four nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards.

    The African Giant stands out as one of the artists propelling African music onto the global stage, showcasing his extraordinary talent through music that has marked numerous historic moments.

    As a Grammy winner, Burna Boy has secured four nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards. His single ‘City Boy‘ received a nod for Best African Music Performance; ‘Alone‘ was recognized in the Best Global Music Performance category; his album ‘I Told Them‘ earned a nomination for Best Global Album; and he achieved yet another nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance with ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World,’ featuring 21 Savage.

    In a groundbreaking achievement, Burna Boy becomes the first Nigerian artist to receive four nominations in a single year. Additionally, he makes history as the first African lead artist nominated outside the global categories, specifically for Best Melodic Rap Performance.

    These four nominations bring Burna Boy’s total Grammy nominations to 10, establishing a new Nigerian record. Furthermore, he proudly holds the distinction of being the first African artist to secure five consecutive Grammy nominations, spanning from 2019 to 2023.
