Nigerian singer, Burna Boy loses to Angelique Kidjo at the 62nd Grammy in the “Best World Music Album” category
It’s no more news that Burna Boy is truely the African Giant but is it over Angelique Kidjo? I guess not…The singer has really put in many efforts on his African Giant but then there something bigger than his album, that’s where “Celia” comes in.
The Beninese singer-songwriter, Angélique Kidjo takes home Best World Music Album for ‘Celia’ at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards as she defeats our very own “Burna Boy” but it’s great recognition for him to be on the same category with the Legend.
We wish Burna Could bring it home but it didn’t happen! This is just the beginning of bigger things for Oluwa Burna.
The 63rd Grammy might just be the next big deal for him!
