Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has shared the powerful inspiration behind the title of his forthcoming eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness.

In a heartfelt video posted on Instagram via NSWTV, Burna Boy revealed that the album’s title is rooted in deeply personal experiences, hinting at struggles he has endured silently.
Without going into explicit detail, the Afrofusion superstar expressed that despite facing intense challenges—challenges that, in his words, gave him “the most reasons not to exist anymore” he has always refused to show vulnerability.
“I have had the most reasons to not exist anymore, but I have shown no sign of weakness,” Burna said. “That’s what this album is saying; through everything, no sign of weakness will be shown. That is what I want everyone coming after me to do—show no sign of weakness.”
Scheduled for release under Atlantic Records, Spaceship, and Bad Habit, No Sign of Weakness promises to be another defining chapter in Burna Boy’s career. The album includes ‘Tatata’, a collaboration with American rapper Travis Scott, which has already generated buzz.
No Sign of Weakness will mark Burna Boy’s eighth studio album, adding to an acclaimed discography that includes:
- L.I.F.E (2013)
- On a Spaceship (2015)
- Outside (2018)
- African Giant (2019)
- Twice As Tall (2020 – Grammy winner)
- Love, Damini (2022)
- I Told Them (2023)
Since his breakout with Like to Party, Burna Boy has become one of Africa’s most influential and globally recognized artists, blending introspective storytelling with musical innovation. As fans eagerly anticipate No Sign of Weakness, his message of resilience continues to resonate far beyond the music.
