Bruno Mars Sets Historic Record as First Artist to Hit 150 Million Monthly Spotify Listeners

Global pop icon Bruno Mars has made history by becoming the first artist to surpass 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify, solidifying his place among the most dominant streaming forces of all time.
Mars achieved this milestone following the release of his recent collaborations, ‘Die With A Smile’ featuring Lady Gaga and his guest appearance on ‘APT‘ by Rose. These records marked his return to the music scene after his Grammy-winning 2021 project ‘An Evening With Silk Sonic,’ created alongside Anderson .Paak.
His latest achievement extends his reign at the top of Spotify’s monthly listener rankings, where he continues to break new ground in digital music consumption.
Bruno Mars shattered the previous record of 120 million monthly listeners, which was held by Canadian superstar The Weeknd. The ‘Blinding Lights‘ hitmaker had earlier made history as the first artist to reach 100 million monthly listeners before setting the bar at 120 million.
With Mars now pushing the limit to 150 million, he cements his reputation as one of the most influential artists of his generation.
