    After Cote d’Ivoire secured victory over the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the AFCON 2023 finals, a flurry of reactions poured in from fans and celebrities alike.

    One particularly amusing exchange occurred between Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck and Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif. Black Sherif shared a comical anecdote, revealing that following Ghana’s loss and elimination from AFCON 2023, Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez facetimed him to poke fun at his team’s defeat. He further joked that they even instructed a jeweler to craft the “cheapest piece” ever made for him.

    He wrote: Blaqbonez called me on facetime to laugh at me when my country’s Black Stars was sent home, the guy couldn’t stop smiling. Odumodu was on Facetime the next 3 days telling the Jeweller to make me the cheapest piece he’s ever made, And na me call am for the Jeweller o! You want me to shut up? I’m going to bed.     In response to the teasing from Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez, Black Sherif retaliated by sending out a meme to mock Nigeria’s loss.

    Since then, Odumodublvck has taken to Twitter, expressing his intentions with a tweet that read, “I WAS GONNA RECORD TEARS IN ABIDJAN TONIGHT” and followed up with another tweet saying, “MAKE UNA HELP ME BEG BLACKO.” Despite the playful banter, the atmosphere wasn’t tense, although Nigerians nursed their wounds from their losses.
