Already the most decorated and nominated artist in Grammy history, Beyoncé continues to break barriers. This year, she led the nominations with 11 nods, including the prestigious Album of the Year for her critically acclaimed eighth studio album, ‘Cowboy Carter.’ For the first time, she was also nominated in the Country & American Roots** field, with seven different songs from the album earning nominations across four genres.
With this win, Beyoncé becomes the **first Black woman to win a Grammy for a country music song** since The Pointer Sisters won in a similar category in 1975.

Beyoncé was nominated for four country Grammy awards this year. While she missed out on two, which went to Kacey Musgraves and Chris Stapleton, she still has one more chance to add another country Grammy to her collection, as ‘Cowboy Carter’ competes for Best Country Album in tonight’s main telecast.
Beyoncés historic win further cements her as a genre-defying artist, proving once again that she is truly unstoppable.
