Talented Nigerian Songstress, Omawumi has opened up on how she was a Baby Mama for four years before getting married.
During a conversation with hosts of “Your View” on TVC, Omawumi revealed that she was once a Baby Mama by her own decision.
According to her, she stayed away from marriage after giving birth to their daughter and waited till she was ready for marriage.
The “Bullshit” singer said that after four years of being a baby mama, she and her husband came into a consensus to walk down the aisle and stay together officially as husband and wife.

She made this known when asked if it is right for a woman to decide to just have kids without being married. She added that nobody has the audacity to question a decision of a woman.
”I did it. I was a babymama for four years before Papa Kamila decided to marry me. I don’t know why. I was a babymama for four years and I decided and said I don’t want to marry until we are good and ready.” she said
The whole conversation was is coming after former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri via his Official Twitter handle said that he has no sympathy for single mothers and condemned the whole concept of baby mama.
Omawumi during the conversation condemned his line of thought saying he should channel his energy toward the male folk who impregnate women and leave them with the responsibility of raising the child.
