It will be recalled that the Federal government had cut down the country’s budget following the global fall in oil price caused by the spread of deadly coronavirus.

While the Federal government slashed Universal Basic education budget and Primary health care budget almost by half, one would be expecting that the renovation budget be drastically cut down.

However, it was only brought down to N27 billion from N37 billion.

Taking to his social media page to react, Banky W wrote:

At a time when most Nigerians are seriously struggling with being able to afford everything from FOOD to Healthcare, our National Assembly is going to spend N27 BILLION on “renovations”!
