Ayra Starr has upgraded the venue for her upcoming StarrGirl concert in the United Kingdom (UK) after strong demand for tickets prompted a move to a larger space.
The Nigerian singer confirmed the development in a new announcement, revealing that presale tickets had sold out and that the show would move to a bigger venue to accommodate more fans.
“Presale sold out 💜 Venue upgrade due to high demand. On sale starts tomorrow 10am BST,” the announcement read.
The concert was initially set to take place at a venue with a capacity of around 2,000 people. However, reports indicated that more than 11,000 fans had joined the presale queue in less than 12 hours, highlighting the level of interest in the event.
Following the venue change, the Rush hitmaker is now set to perform at O2 Academy Brixton, a venue with a capacity of over 4,000.
The development comes as Ayra Starr continues to grow her international fanbase, building on the success of her music and recent appearances on major global stages.
Fans who missed the presale will have another chance to get tickets when general sales open at 10 a.m. BST on October 16.
