Ayra Starr discloses that her mum still calls her at 2 a.m. for coming late from her show
Despite being a well-known musician, popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known online as Ayra Starr, has garnered a lot of attention for her remarks regarding the significant influence her mother had on her.
The “Rush” crooner, Ayra Starr, revealed this when appearing as a guest on Beat FM, where she discussed her spending patterns, her Grammy nomination, and the possibility of a new album.
Even though it’s the twenty-first century, Ayra Starr claims that her biological mother is still very much an African mother.
Speaking about a situation involving her mother, Ayra Starr mentioned that although she had the money to purchase the bag she had her eye on, she never did since her mother would always be complaining about how much she was spending on extravagant things.
Ayra Starr mentioned that her mother used to phone her during her show at two in the morning to inquire about her return home.
The Grammy-nominated singer went on to say that after her performances, her mother will often call her manager and crew to inquire about their safety.
