“Yoga” will be the first song Asake will be releasing this year following a successful 2022 which he dominated with hits like “Sungba”, “Omo Ope”, “Terminator”, “Palazzo”, “Joha” and others.
The video of the song is directed by popular cinematographer, TG Omori who has also been the brain behind most of Asake’s music videos.
Recall that TG Omori caused an uproar after he revealed that he was paid $165k for Asake’s “Joha” video.
His revelation came after a tweep first made the bold claim that TG Omori did not have a video that warranted him to charge $50,000, the equivalent of N22 million in Nigerian currency for a music video.
Remember that TG was recently in the news for charging notorious street-hop singer Portable a reduced charge of $50,000 to shoot a new video, and it appears that fans are still upset about it.
We wonder how much TG charged for the forthcoming “Yoga” video.
