Afrobeats heavyweight Asake has officially unveiled his fourth studio album, M$NEY, released via GIRAN REPUBLIC and EMPIRE, marking another bold chapter in his fast-evolving global run.

The project arrives with striking visual ambition: its artwork features a marble sculpture of Asake created by Iraqi-Dutch artist Arthar Jabar. The piece captures not just his physical form, but also the cultural weight and artistic identity he continues to carry within contemporary music.
Across 13 tracks, M$NEY positions itself as both a sonic journey and a personal statement. The album opens with a live choral introduction, immediately setting a spiritual and immersive tone that blends orchestral textures with African rhythmic foundations.
It’s a soundscape that feels expansive, yet still grounded in Asake’s unmistakable musical identity.
In describing the project, Asake frames it as a deeply personal reflection:
“M$NEY is a reflection of my spiritual and creative journey. Everything flows from a place of gratitude to God and every moment that’s shaped me,” states Asake. “The music explores different sonic elements, from orchestral sounds to dance beats. I stay true to myself but also weave in new creative expressions from my life experiences and personal evolution.”

The rollout of the album began earlier in 2025 with WHY LOVE, a mellow, emotionally charged record that introduced listeners to the album’s romantic and introspective undertones.
That narrative expanded with BADMAN GANGSTA, featuring Tiakola, where Asake leaned into a cross-cultural blend anchored by a reworked sample of Amerie’s 1 Thing, layered over smooth guitars and smoky saxophone textures.
He later elevated the project’s spiritual dimension with WORSHIP, a collaboration with global dance producer DJ Snake, a track that merges spiritual intensity with high-energy electronic production, widening the album’s global reach.

On GRATITUDE, Asake reflects on fame, pressure, and the emotional weight that comes with visibility, floating over soft, jazz-infused strings that underline his introspection.
Meanwhile, FORGIVENESS shifts inward, unfolding as a moment of self-accountability and growth, where he navigates past mistakes and embraces personal clarity.
Since breaking into mainstream consciousness in 2020, Asake has grown into one of Afrobeats’ most dominant figures. He currently holds the record for the most entries on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and stands as one of the most-streamed Nigerian artists globally.
M$NEY follows his 2025 collaborative project REAL, Vol. 1 with Wizkid, further reinforcing his position at the forefront of the genre’s global expansion.
