Renowned Nigerian artist Asa is set to enchant audiences once more with her new song, “Odo.”

Having captivated fans with her soulful music for nearly two decades, the talented artist has announced the eagerly anticipated release scheduled for Thursday, February 1, 2024.

The exciting news was shared via her official X platform on January 30, 2024, generating enthusiasm among her dedicated fanbase. This forthcoming single marks Asa’s first release of 2024, following her enchanting children’s lullaby “Little Darling” in May 2022.

Known for her unassuming demeanor, Asa has established herself as one of Nigeria’s premier composers, infusing her music with rich African folk elements. Her breakthrough came with the self-titled debut album “Asa” (also known as “Asha“), which earned her the prestigious Headies Album of the Year Prize.

In 2022, Asa continued to delight fans with her album “V,” exploring Afrobeats and showcasing her versatility. The album featured a collaboration with Wizkid, a standout moment that faced challenges as the track was later removed from streaming platforms due to copyright infringements.

Despite such hurdles, Asa’s musical journey remains one characterized by innovation and excellence. With the impending release of “Odo,” fans eagerly anticipate the continuation of Asa’s musical legacy and the exploration of new sonic realms by this revered artist.
