Multiple Grammy Award-winner Angelique Kidjo serves us with another beautiful tune – “Africa, One Of A Kind“.
In the spirit of celebrating Africa Day, talented songstress, Angelique Kidjo releases an amazing single titled Africa, One Of A Kind.
As a matter of fact, this track features Nigerian leading superstar, Mr Eazi and veteran Mali singer, Salif Keita.
According to Kidjo, “Africa, One of A Kind” is dedicated to the motherland, “Africa”; which has a fusion of three languages, Bambara, English (Nigerian Pidgin), and Yoruba.
Accompanied by the song comes the wonderful video, filmed in Benin and also features Salif Keita as a special guest. The dance is the Gogbahoun from my village Ouidah!!!
Prior to the song, Mr Eazi quotes that “This is the most important song I have done to date.” Mr. Eazi has composed for us such an amazing duet, an ode to our beloved African continent.
