American Rapper Russ Shares Snippet Of His Afrobeats Song

American Rapper Russ set to drop an Afrobeat-themed song, gives himself Nigerian names.
American rapper, singer, and performer Russell James Vitale, famously known as Russ, is presently the topic of discussion after he posted a snippet of his upcoming Afrobeat song.
Russ, who is a recognised face in the Afrobeats genre after collaborating with YBNL after Asake included him on a song called “Reason,” also has Nigerians on his crew.
Taking to Twitter on February 20th, 2022, the rapper and producer took to Twitter to share a snippet of an Afrobeats song which he titles “Gimme Love“.
Calling himself, OluwaRuss and Russchukwu, the rapper revealed his plans to drop the song on Friday, February 24th, 2022 and disclosed that it was produced by him.

Russ is the stage name of Russell James Vitale, an American rapper, singer, and composer. After publishing albums, mixtapes, and songs online for free for years, Russ released his twelfth studio album, There is Actually a Wolf, with Columbia Records in May 2017. It was given the Platinum certification in April 2018.
His first three hit singles, “What They Want,” “Losin Control,” and “Best on Earth” (with Bia), all came from the album and peaked at positions 83, 63, and 46 on the US Billboard Hot 100, respectively. On September 7, 2018, he released his thirteenth album, Zoo, which reached at number four on the US Billboard 200.
His fourteenth studio album, Shake the Snow Globe, was released on January 31, 2020, also peaking at number 4 on the US Billboard 200. Outside of his solo music, he is part of Diemon, a music collective from Atlanta.
