It’s a sad weekend for the Maraj family, as Nicki Minaj loses dad Robert Maraj to a hit-and-run accident.

Reports have it that rapper Nicki Minaj has lost her dad to a hit-and-run accident, over the weekend.

Her 64-year-old father was hit by a car going in Mineola, Long Island at 6:15 p.m European Time.

According to Nassau County Police department spokesman, he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on Saturday.

Accordingly, the Homicide Squad is investigating the case and seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

Moreover, a representative for Nicki Minaj confirmed her dad’s death but did not have further comments.

However, Nicki hasn’t responded or spoken about the death of her father.
