Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi is set to explore a new creative path as he ventures into music under the stage name “17.”

The Fulham FC star revealed that his debut extended play, More To Life, will drop on April 9, giving fans their first real taste of his musical journey. He announced on Instagram, sharing both the cover art and a nine-track lineup for the project.
The EP will feature a mix of solo records and collaborations, with appearances from artistes such as 24am, Teniola Time, Gidi, Fido, and SPKS. Notably, two tracks will see Iwobi perform alone, highlighting his growing confidence as an artist.
While this marks his first official project, Iwobi is no stranger to the studio. He previously teamed up with fellow footballer Chuba Akpom, who records music as Skoli, alongside British rapper Ramz on the track “Hop Out.”
Despite his musical ambitions, Iwobi continues to deliver on the pitch. So far this season, he has recorded four goals and three assists in the Premier League, maintaining his importance to Fulham’s squad.
His move into music reflects a growing trend of footballers embracing creative outlets beyond the game, as Iwobi prepares to show fans a different side of his personality.
