South Africa Government had placed a ban on alcohol in the month of April so as to reduce Alcohol-related casualties in the country giving Health workers more room to face COVID19 issues.

However, while the ban reduces casualties, it spiked an increase in alcohol sales in the country. In the beginning of June, the Government lifted the ban.

After a South African celebrity asked for the Government to bring back the ban, AKA reacted saying that he has mouths to feed.

AKA owns a wine brand called Cruz and a ban on alcohol will directly affect him.

Some of his fans however didn’t agree, stating that alcohol kills people and causes violence. But AKA argued that people also die from high cholesterol but eateries where chicken is sold still opens.

Chief … it’s bad as is without being able to do any shows. I also have a family to feed ya undastand. https://t.co/L3m3icB8W5
