Simi’s epic reaction as her husband, Adekunle Gold surprises her with a cake during Nigerian Idol
Simi and Adekunle Gold have given fans yet more reason to think that love is wonderful!
Adekunle Gold made a surprise cameo on Nigerian Idol on Sunday night to gift his wife, Simi, a birthday cake, and the Kosokos are now buzzing.
Simi is one of the judges on the music reality show, Nigerian Idol where her hubby decided to put on a romantic display.
Adekunle Gold wanted to surprise her on her birthday, so he enlisted the help of her colleagues. He pretended to be a super fan and showed up with a birthday cake when it was time for his performance.

In a video which has gone viral, show host, IK said that a superfan of Simi wanted to come and show her love, so he ushered in the person who turned out to be her husband.
Simi was blown away and couldn’t utter a word for 10 seconds. When she recovered from the shock, she gave her husband a hug and of course, a sweet kiss.
When asked to say a word to her, Adekunle Gold said; “I am proud of you, well done, Deja and I am rooting for you and we love you, I love you”
Nigerians have taken to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to leave comments like ‘God when, love is sweet, love is beautiful’ after photos and videos of Simi’s surprise birthday surfaced online.
