AG Baby has released Fuji Orchestra (Live From The Royal Festival Hall, London, 2025), a live album documenting his celebrated orchestral performance at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

Recorded during the EFG London Jazz Festival in November 2025, the project gives listeners a chance to experience Gold’s music through a more expansive live setting. It revisits songs from his Fuji era alongside selections from his wider catalog, giving the familiar records a fresh identity.
For the performance, Gold was backed by the Guildhall Session Orchestra and his live band, 79th Element. The combination created an interesting meeting point between Nigerian popular music and the richness of a full orchestral arrangement.
Rather than simply recreating the original studio versions, the live treatment adds greater scale and texture to the songs.
The expanded instrumentation gives Gold’s vocals and songwriting a different emotional weight, making the project feel more like a complete live experience than a straightforward collection of concert recordings.
Fuji Orchestra ultimately serves as an extension of the creative world Gold explored during his Fuji era. More importantly, it preserves a significant moment from his London performance while showcasing how naturally his sound can translate to an orchestral stage.
