Davido Recreates Marriage Proposal to His Wife, Chioma, in Romantic ‘Already Falling’ Music Video
Afrobeats superstar Davido has given fans a romantic glimpse into his relationship with wife Chioma in the newly released music video for “Already Falling,” featuring a touching proposal scene between the couple.
Released on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the visuals accompany a track from Davido’s sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, with Chioma taking centre stage in the love-themed storyline.
Throughout the video, the couple share several intimate moments. In one scene, they appear in matching traditional-inspired outfits as Davido serenades his wife, while another captures Chioma behind the steering wheel of a car as the singer performs.
The standout moment comes towards the end, when Davido gets down on one knee beside a lake and presents Chioma with a ring, recreating a marriage proposal despite the couple already being married.

Chioma’s appearance continues a familiar tradition in Davido’s music videos. She previously featured in his 2018 hit “Assurance,” released during their dating years, and later appeared in “1 Milli,” whose 2020 visuals featured a wedding-inspired storyline.
The couple officially tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024 before celebrating their white wedding in Miami, Florida, in August of the same year.
With “Already Falling,” Davido once again brings his real-life relationship into his music, giving fans another romantic visual centred on his marriage to Chioma.
