Fireboy DML Releases Fifth Studio Album ZUKO! With Lyrics
Fireboy DML explores fresh sounds on his fifth studio album, ZUKO!, a 13-track project that blends Afrobeats with Jamaican dancehall and South African musical influences.
“BY FIRE!” serves as the album’s second track, delivering a defiant message about fearlessness, self-belief, and overcoming obstacles. Fireboy embraces a warrior mentality, expressing his determination to stand his ground, seize opportunities, and refuse to be defeated by his enemies.
Drawing inspiration from biblical figures such as Samson, David, and Elijah, the song highlights his strength, spiritual confidence, and readiness to face whatever comes his way. Read the lyrics below.
Fireboy DML – BY FIRE! Lyrics
I’m a shaker
I’m a goddamn thorn in the flesh
I’m a troublemaker
I’ma do my own thing in my own damn time
Like a king
Till I meet my maker
Won le ba
Any chance wey I get right now, I swear I go take am
It’s a different game, but the same guy
I no fit ever fail, don’t say that
I’m a fighter
I’m a born warrior
I’ll look in the eyes of the tiger
I’m the Samson before Delilah
I’m the David, send down Goliath
Make dem fall back
I’m like that
If you cross my path, I’ll fight back
Back to back, I strike a viper
I’m Elijah, send down the fire
Ke hossana
Holy Ghost fire
Hallelujah meta
Holy Michael, enter
Let the enemy die by fire
Let the enemy die by fire
Let the enemy die by fire
Let the enemy die by fire
Ke hossana
Holy Ghost fire
Hallelujah meta
Holy Uriel, enter
Let the enemy die by fire
Let the enemy die by fire
Let the enemy die by fire
Let the enemy die by fire

Let the enemy die by fire
Let the enemy die by fire)
Ke hossana
Holy Ghost fire
