The organisers of Afro Nation Portugal have officially unveiled the lineup for the festival’s 2027 edition, with some of Africa’s biggest music stars set to take over Portimão next summer.
Nigerian heavyweights Davido, Rema, and Omah Lay are among the headline names announced for the festival, which is scheduled to take place from June 9 to June 11, 2027, in Portimão, Portugal.
The three-day celebration will bring together leading acts from Afrobeats, Amapiano, dancehall, and other African-influenced genres, continuing Afro Nation’s reputation as a major international platform for African music.
On the lit stage, Davido, Rema, and Congolese superstar Fally Ipupa headline the lineup. Omah Lay and Jamaican singer Shenseea are also billed for the stage, alongside Odeal, Victony, Valiant, Bamby, Rayvanny, and MiMi Kids.
Amapiano will take centre stage on the Piano People Stage, where South African hitmakers Kabza De Small and TxC lead the lineup. Dlala Thukzin joins as a special guest, while Young Stunna, Zee Nxumalo, 031Choppa, W4DE, Xduppy and Al Xapo are also scheduled to perform.
The festival experience will extend into the night with a Lit Stage after-party featuring South Gidi, DJ Maphorisa and DJ Tunez. Over at the Afrotronic VIP Stage, DJs including Caiiro and DJEFF are set to keep the atmosphere going.
Afro Nation Portugal has become a major meeting point for African music and its global audience, attracting performers and fans from different parts of the world.
With Davido, Rema, Omah Lay, Fally Ipupa, and Kabza De Small among the names announced, the 2027 edition is already shaping up as another major showcase of the sounds driving Africa’s global music movement.
