As the 2025/26 season of the Premier League moves toward its conclusion, the league has officially released a shortlist of eight standout players who delivered exceptional performances for their respective clubs throughout the campaign.

The list reflects a season defined by consistency, attacking brilliance, and defensive resilience, with several of England’s top clubs strongly represented.
Arsenal lead the way with three nominees
Arsenal dominate the shortlist, with three players recognised for their influence in a solid campaign at the back and in midfield.
Defenders Gabriel Magalhães and goalkeeper David Raya were both included, alongside midfielder Declan Rice, whose all-round impact has been central to Arsenal’s stability and competitiveness this season.
Manchester City stars make the cut
Defending champions Manchester City also feature prominently, with striker Erling Haaland earning yet another nomination after another prolific season in front of goal.
Forward Antoine Semenyo is also recognised for his impressive performances, adding to City’s presence on the shortlist.
Other Premier League standouts
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes makes the list after a strong individual campaign, continuing to play a key creative role for his side.
For Nottingham Forest, Morgan Gibbs-White earns recognition for his influential performances, while Brentford forward Igor Thiago is also rewarded after an impressive season in attack.
