Paul Okoye announces strict conditions for artists joining new label
Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, has revealed plans to launch a new record label, setting strict conditions for artists interested in joining.
During an Instagram Live session, Rudeboy revealed that prospective artists must provide landed property as collateral and obtain official consent from their parents. Additionally, he stated that any artist caught smoking would be required to pay a fine of N10 million.
These conditions have sparked mixed reactions, with some praising Rudeboy’s business approach while others criticized the demands as excessive.
This announcement comes as Rudeboy continues to navigate a public feud with his twin brother, with whom he formerly performed as part of the successful music group P-Square.

Recall, Mr. P, one half of the popular Nigerian music duo P-Square, has finally addressed the allegations made by his twin brother, Paul Okoye, regarding his involvement in Paul’s detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a detailed statement shared on his Instagram page, Peter Okoye firmly denied ever petitioning the EFCC against his brother. He clarified that his focus was solely on their elder brother, Jude Okoye, and his wife, Ifeoma, who were allegedly operating a secret company called Northside Music. Peter accused them of diverting millions of dollars and hundreds of millions of naira from their management company, Northside Entertainment.
Peter revealed that he had uncovered the existence of the secret company and had confronted Paul multiple times, but Paul denied any involvement.
