Skiibii expresses disappointment on Father’s Day
Nigerian singer Abbey Toyyib Elias, better known as Skiibii, expressed his disappointment on social media regarding the observance of Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16, 2024.
Skiibii noted his frustration that instead of celebrating fathers, people were asking for money from them.
He took to his Instagram story to vent, writing, “You can’t even celebrate anything without people asking for money. All I see is ‘daddy send money, press money’. You can’t even post about Father’s Day in peace without it being a problem.”
This outburst from Skiibii follows recent allegations against both him and Mayorkun, which they have denied. While Mayorkun publicly refuted claims of involvement in money rituals on X, Skiibii chose not to comment on the matter.
